I. The Premise / Structural State

This study initiates an exploration into pure spatial architecture, forcing the organic form of the horse to obey a rigid geometric envelope. By establishing a primary square container and a secondary, rotated internal axis, the baseline anatomy is stripped of superficial surface detail. The focus shifts entirely to how a living silhouette balances its weight within static, mathematical boundaries.

II. The Methodology / Applied Restoration 

Using photographic references of Montana dropping her neck into a release loop, straight and deliberate digital charcoal strokes are mapped directly onto the planes of the tilted inner square. Rather than capturing individual hair strands or anatomical landmarks, the linework anchors the structural sweep of the crest, the angle of the jaw, and the shift of the shoulder to the geometric constraints. This process explores the intersection between objective mechanical guidelines and subjective biological alignment.

III. The Equilibrium / Resolution

The study concludes with a tonal dissolve, where digital watercolor washes and high-contrast paper textures fill the negative space (Ma) around the geometry. By introducing atmospheric tone against the hard borders of the frame, the dark charcoal head emerges dynamically from the canvas. The tension between the organic form and the rigid square matrix resolves into a balanced, singular visual ecosystem.
